Getting 2006-7 vibes, at least that was a decent oz team, this isn’t even their first choice attack, no Lyon, no Hazlewood, no Cummings.

Just listened to aggers, apparently a third of their runs were scored in the third man region, which says we’re bowling too wide, only 5% of our deliveries would have hit the stumps.
If root had been caught by smith early yesterday game would be over already.
7 of our batters scored less than 20, none of theirs have (assuming Neser gets another 5). |

If you want the mayor of London to be the highest paid politician in the country, if you want 2,217 TfL staff to be paid more than £100k a year, if you want the tube unions to keep going on strike because they see tfl making its own staff rich and they want their members to be rich too, you’re going to have to pay (A LOT) to drive in London. |

Not sure about XG, but they had two shots on target tonight and scored two. Seems to happen every game now, a higher percentage of their shots on target seem to end up in our net than vice versa. Nardi seems to have the presence of Ronnie Corbett in goal.

You wouldn’t think it was possible to win the Ryder cup with only one win in the singles on Sunday. Glad we got the extra half at the end as the yanks would have said we only won because of the extra half point due to to the neck injury to Hovland. |

For me the best Ryder cups were in the 80s. it was on the bbc so everyone could enjoy it, it was played with mutual respect, and it was pure theatre, the fans showed more respect for the players too. |
