I think their full season ticket price isnt much more than the Swans. Although they do have a very attractive pricing for under 18 & under 22 Season Tickets being around £96 & £165 respectively. I believe these options are very well subscribed. They do have a near 49,000 stadium to fill and I believe they use other incentives too. Saying that, it is great support from a historically well supported club. |

He played a few games towards end of 2003-4 season. Was off loaded at end of that season I think. |

Attended a few away games back in the day in the '70's in the old 4th division where not many travelled. Rochdale January 1977 sticks out though, about 15 of us. |

Not sure on this. A few candidates though. Whittaker last season. Thornber v West Brom. Latchford v Leeds. Pretty sure Curtis scored a fast hat trick at some time, but against who escapes me. [Post edited 22 Jul 2022 1:06]

Great film / documentary. Would definitely recommend getting to watch it. Certainly brought the memories flooding back. |

"British middleweight world champion, who had the mis-fortune of defending his title against an up and coming US boxer... Marvin Hagler... he got battered" Marvin Hagler was hardly "an up and coming US Boxer" he was 26 years old and had fought over 50 times and for a World Title by the time he met Alan Minter in 1980. A very dangerous switch hitter. Up to this fight, Minters career had included a several 15 Round fights, including a Domestic Trilogy of 15 round wars against Kevin Finnegan. He'd had one hell of an hard career . Basically boxing politics had stopped Hagler being a World Champion prior to this fight. It was well known Minter cut badly during fights, taking nothing away from Hagler, ( one of my all time favourites) his head was in Minters face for the duration of the fight, saying that, Minter shipped a hell of a lot of punches too. Hagler was a class act, and proved that by holding the title for a record time. He is still a class act today outside of the ring. Minter is / was very well respected in boxing circles and would attend all the regional boxing dinners for new / old fighters even up until his death. Also he did a lot of charity work. Hagler had no beef with Minter, at a dinner he presented Minter with a huge photo of himself wearing all his belts, British, European, WBA & WBC. RIP Alan. [Post edited 11 Sep 2020 14:56]

Not sure about that. But you are right about the nickname. He is one of a pair of twins, hence the nickname. |

I thought Mike Marsh was also a Coach of the England Under 17's. Ex Liverpool player. I think he used to be with Huddersfield. I could be wrong though, perhaps he is still with them. |
