One swallow doesn't make a summer but it was great to see less passing backwards, players really trying and a successful half time team talk! Thought the substitutions were good - they made sense in the context of the game. Feel for Gabbi - I thought he was offside and I think he did as well, but a great save from the goalie and a top class save for the penalty, which wasn't bad.
Favourite moment - Wigan fans hitting one of their own with a flare and then fighting amongst themselves. That and the rubbish swirling around the pitch showed the class of the opposition. |
