Though Mr bottomley was a decent speaker and came across well. Really enjoyed it. Some honest chat and I though it gave the feeling that we are all in it together. Club seem committed and sticking to the plan in keeping the club afloat financially, while trying to give Brian what he needs to put it right on the pitch.
I'm not a fan of sitting being quite tall. , I like to move about. I used to like smoking minature cigars at the back until they banned smoking. I've watched from the willbuts and then the Sandy until 2009.
But...
Since moving to the main Stand in 2010...the views and match experience are dramatically enhanced. Its no longer like watching a game in HD ready plasma, its like viewing in 3D with fkin LED or the like.. You can track the offisides and see see if the linesmans bent..your closer to the game and see the technique and dirty challenges.. ..you can be heard shouingt encouragement to the subs warming up to go on...tell ginge to fck off...hear hilly bawling at the players and gving instructions... see the goals scored at both ends. I move seats from Pearl end half time and fck off back to sandy
In years from now when Donnelly has left the club, I may reminisce - i would say he played his best for the Dale, he tried hard, his doggedness and fight encouraged other team members to match it. He played his best while wearing a Dale shirt.
Its great that to see hard working players work there socks off dor the club, but very tough watching potential uber players waste there talent, ie Liam Dickinson.
