I do not have a problem with cannas ,far from it. I feel with our history and being part of it Leon will be more up for a relegation battle. Cannas his time will come, not just yet, not at the expense of Leon anyway, |

Right you bunch of jack M/F for those of you who read my post you will know I said Leon should be the first on the team sheet. Big shout with MR.Monk in charge. Although we beat the scum, I think we should be careful before we name a full time manager.I must say the players were right into him when we scored the goals. I think if he keeps us up he should be given a chance.

I think I can relate a little to this statement, let me explain. I am now in my early fifties and supported the swans for xxx years blah blah blah. Anyway, after spending many years through the mid seventies, eighties and not so much of the nineties because of marriage and shift work, travelling to not so elite football grounds ( I am being kind ) I was thrilled when we reached the promised land. After the Toshack era when I was in my prime, I really thought I would be in heaven this time around. I don't know why but not so. I am not a season ticket holder because of my shift work but I get to see about ten home games a season and four or five away games which I prefer, Although I would never like to see the Swans lose a game or struggle I can honestly say I really enjoyed the championship more.It seemed we always had a target, promotion or avoid relegation but it was real and everyone felt the same. Now I feel it is so money orientated and although we did fantastic to win the league cup unless we have a crazy money guru we have reached our level, if we don't go down this season the most we can hope is to be a mid table premiership side from now on in, a lot of our fans would think thats terrific but I want more, to be the best, think I must be losing it in my old age, can anyone relate to my view ? |

Lets give Huw and Martin the credit they deserve.What they have done for us is often overlooked, they are obviously not happy with the situation and I am sure they have got plans in place for a new manager if we stay up or go down.Whatever happens I really think ML has taken us as far as he can or as far he is bothered. |

My favourite player from the John Hollins era is still the same one now ,Leon Britton, a f@@king disgrace he is not the first name on the team sheet. May not always be the best player on the pitch but always gives a 100% heart like a lion and ten times more passion than most of those pussies who represented us at upton park today. |

well said greekswan by next saturday we should be bursting like Ron Jeremey on viagra,we must all forget the negatives and get behind our team big time, but must also agree with other fans who pay their money, entitled to have their say, whinge, moan whatever. But they must get it out of their system now and be fresh and eager to help our team on Saturday, dont forget who we are playing and what it means to us all. |
