ive been looking into the united debt and its obvious it offset towards the amount of money they make through merchandise etc.... but Im of the opinion it shouldnt be any different to any other club, clubs being put under transfer embargo for being in debt should be the same for every club, but unfortunately the rich only get richer in this day and age. but back to the original topic if dawson catches on at west brom this year, and I for one think he will, I think we could be in for a big windfall, due to the fact that all the U21 games ive watched craig has always outshone caulker, I think a loan move to a smaller Prem clubs such as Palace would definitely raise Craigs profile in the Prem, mainly due to the fact ATM he has only really succeeded at Championship level for a matter of 3 month |

If Caulker is worth the reported £8m Cardiff have paid, who thinks that Craig will be getting a chance this season I've spoke to a lot of Bolton fans and there more than slightly annoyed they cant afford him so hopefully for craig and us we could see a phil jones type of deal in the future |

I used to play for the team 5/6 year ago would love to get back into but work commitments and university commitments say other wise if needed for home games I would play just drop me a message on here or by my email le9hss@bolton.ac.uk
Only live in bolton so travelling for home games is not an issue. Wont be able to play for next couple of weeks due to starting work in the afternoons at weekends but any time after that just let me know and I will be ready to play

Like I said this is still in the process mode at the moment, obviously a questionnaire is the most common form of data collection for a university student, and as I said in my OP I would also like to conduct some one on one interviews with fans if possible, while I also try and get and audience with a senior member of staff or a member of the board. I shall be looking towards trying to integrate a new method of data collection but at the minute I need to speak to my tutor about it. Also does anyone know what site other clubs use as Forums as i generally only read this one but I know that most clubs was on the old Rivals format.

HI Guys
Im currently in my 3rd year of University and have decided to research the topic of Modern day Football from the perspective of Supporters.
I was just wondering how many of you would be willing to help by filling in a questionnaire or maybe be willing to be available for an interview. This research will also hopefully include an interview with a member of the board or Management from the club. |

true but it does state his willingness to drop down divisions, just seems like a young lad who just wants to play football, and i kinda have respect for him turning down a 2 year deal at everton to do that when he had no definate offer from anywhere |

im a 2nd year student currently thinking of my dissertation question had a couple of ideas but need to know what people think of these ideas before ultimately deciding which to base my research on it will mainly be based within professional football but if you would like to add comments on other professional sports that is welcome, if you wouldnt mind could you post a few comments on each subject if possible, thanks in advance
Financial Power within Football :- are Foreign Owners killing smaller clubs
Debt within Football :- is the way footballing debt dealt with fair
Attendance within Greater Manchester:- are Premier League clubs offering discounted tickets financially killing smaller clubs
Fan Loyalty :- are fans loyal towards there local clubs even in the current financial climate |
