 | Forum Reply | Sunderland coach travel cancelled at 16:46 8 Apr 2025
They are providing initially 10 free coaches for QPR. The trouble is Turners are charging £60 for the trip to Sunderland because of the bad behavior on the buses they have security on board. I travelled after Covid on club buses for 2 games, the behaviour was horrendous on the bus and at the services and as someone who went to 95% of away games said i wouldn't go again. Luckily enough I now travel on a private coach with other regulars every game, no its not The Red Lion Bus. When these free coaches are run we don't get the free travel. We did raise this with Tom Gorridge who said to send him and email as he was unaware of other Buses. Regular supporters also travel by car and when money is available to help fans it should be a reduction on ticket prices that way everyone benefits. |

Comparison for Joe Allen v Aaron Ramseys return to former clubs. Beginning of this year which was 2.5 seasons for Joe he took part in 60 games. Aaron again beginning of this year 1.5 seasons he played 13 games, i do believe he has played a couple of games in February. Sometimes it works always a gamble as players get older. |

Kenny was from St. Thomas, saw him playing for Swansea Schoolboys many times. He was a very special talent. |

Excellent post. Clubs need to live within their means and that's the problem they aren't. Swansea is a low paid area and the club can't sustain these ridiculous wages for average players. Do you think players care if a club goes out of business because of their demands? We have always been a club that will find little gems and have to sell on eventually to keep us going. I was just reading this season, that Steve Gibson owner of Middlesborough wrote off their £150 million debt by converting to shares, and they are suppose to be a well run club. This is what's happening at many clubs who have owners with unlimited money. |

got back about 1 hour ago. Where do we start. I'm not going to lay all the blame on Luke Williams. After 8 years of selling any quality we had and replacing with much lesser quality has taken its toll, then to cap it all fetching in Paul Watson in to do a job well above his level. Money has been spent under his tenure but spent badly on poor players. I think he must have fetched in around 12/15 players and where are most of them out on loan because they are not good enough. |

I believe it is £62 for Portsmouth and £54 for Hull on Turners coaches. I know its Holiday time but that is a bit pricey. Since covid I travel to away games on a private coach with mostly same fans every week, I wouldn't go any other way. Its a great group of people, and well run bus and we show our respect by behaving ourselves and representing the club and person who runs the bus well wherever we go. The bus prices have gone up the last few years but we are not overcharged. When the club did do free travel couple of months ago even though they know of our regular coach we didn't get free travel. |

Coventry always great day out, not too long a journey. Bus stopped a couple hours in Bromsgrove where most of the regulars piled into the Wetherspoons. Great football first half reminiscent of the better days, and a battling second half. At the end of the game every player deserved the applause and love from the fans. My man of the match was Ben Cabango, but it was hard to pick a winner. |

Chairman definitely there, sat 2 rows in front of me, he had his 3 children and his wife with him. There was no one in the seats in front of me so clear view , there was man to left of me row in front who kept leaning over to talk to him, he was a fan not management. I dont think fans realised who he was , I didn't notice him until half time. I do give him credit for sitting there, very brave you would never seen Huw Jenkins sitting amongst us. |
