We don't have players the size of the other sides the lineouts and scrums proved that and that affects our physical ability, we got some decent players and we need to find a way of using those players to be able to affect the games we play more speed with the ball different tactics etc, the ball up the jumper tactic ain't gonna work we'll always get out musceled by these giants the other sides have, England, France have some huge players throughout their squads, Ireland probably haven't got as many, but the structure of their game is better, Scotland are similar.
We had a coach who can improve the players we have and be able to adapt to the situations in games.
Its easier to say, but a lot harder to implement I know.
O'Brien wasn't his usual self today, is form had dropped off a cliff from where it had been.
I'll forgive him for having a bad day at the office just hope it doesn't continue, cause we need him at his best for the up and coming games after the International break.
I watched the first half hour last night until my eyelids got heavy, not the best of pals are they
Just looked on BBC's Boxing schedule and seen that Anthony Yarde is fighting Lyndon Arthur again can't understand why surely Yarde as moved on from the Lyndon Arthur type of opponents I know it's built as their trilogy fight, but still. hope Yarde sparks him again not a fan of Arthur myself.
The Ball v Doheny World Title Bout tonight should be entertaining.
Id be surprised if MM takes over, he's got enough business interests to take care of without being Chairman of the club, which is to be honest a full time job.
These money men at the club are surely intelligent enough to know that the club cannot be allowed to run like it has been, like you say they made all the right noises after taking over, but the club got worse in my opinion, so the investors probably thought the same and have brought about this change we can't go on being a shambles behind the scenes which then emanates onto the field.
The Trevor Birches of this world are like rocking horse shit, I doubt we'd get anyone with his football acumen here again, you can see how well he's thought of by the position he is in now.
And it's not because he walked into a pub full of Swans fans and bought a round, as one poster posted.
