Marti - Glasgow Rangers.

Maybe a relegated team, but why would he leave for a failed top 6 side.

He has built a team which looks more and more likely to be able to mount a top 6 push next season (maybe even this season!!).

He has job security here, a fanbase which loves him (even when we were bottom) and it would be much more impressive and raise his CV to get top 6 with us, than get top 6 with a West Brom where they are expectant upon that.

Doubt we'll get a big offer for him. He's 30, not a new and upcoming keeper.

QPR v Fat Frank's Lady Godìva first eleven match thread

I'm with you on that.

I think it's highly unlikely we make it. I'd place it at 12/1 or 15/1. 40/1 just seems ridiculously high as if it's a certainty it won't happen.

Just like Cov's 3/1 is ludicrously low. Both should be somewhere in the middle.

Yeah that's my thoughts too.

But even still that is a crazy difference. How they think we can be 13x less likely to make it is strange. Also, odds are based on punters and maybe Cov's past few years means more people are backing them to make it.

Bookies don't fancy us in general.

Odds on making top 6:
QPR 40/1
Coventry 3/1

This is despite having the same points, same games played and equally impressive form. Baffling.

Chair finally in the middle long term?
at 23:44 4 Feb 2025

Agree to this.

Chair is an absolute joy to watch in the middle, but away games or games we expect less of the ball - Varane, Field & Morgan offers more steel, with Colback off the bench.

Saying that, watching Chair in that first half dictating is why you pay to watch football.

Am I right in thinking no one has started a matchday thread. Has the impending doom of losing Dunne spooked everyone?

Domestic clubs can't agree a contract in January. Only clubs from abroad - e.g. BOS to Turkey.

Quite mad he was linked with Barca and prem clubs in the summer. Either he's the real deal or he shares an agent with Mick Beale.

We announced the contracts after the Leicester game, not Swansea. But yes your point stands.

I personally have seen about 10000 QPR rumours from FLW, zero have had any substance. I wouldn't look into this until a reputable source posts this.

I wouldn't be surprised if he remembers how the fans stayed loyal to him, and if he does get an offer elsewhere that will play on his decision. He definitely seems like a true professional, look at his face whenever he is asked about the fans who travel, you can see how much it means to him.

Lloyd and saito

Alfie Lloyd. What a man. Would run through a brick wall for those 3 points today. When he won that free kick in the last minute through pure guts and bravery, these are the players we need wearing blue and white.

Saito, great finish son and effective throughout his whole cameo. Has a knack of always keeping the ball even when it looks like it's lost.

(Less said about Ashby the better...)

Worried about this one.

Too much feel-good factor at the club at the minute (minus the Leicester debacle) which should scream trouble to anyone that follows this madhouse club.

Like one of those 30-day trials Netflix or Amazon give you before destroying your bank account.

Hopefully, unlike me, QPR remember to cancel the free trial.

EDB Signs new contract

Looking at the reaction from the summer when he signed a new contract, it's sad to see how far it has gone wrong. Those league cup games killed him I think, he was given opportunities and just didn't grasp them whatsoever. Sad but he seems like a good egg.

These things get out there.
