This seems to have been spread around without any real substance. Anyone in a position to explain how they intend to do this. Be interested to hear who is involved and how much they value the club at and what they'll get for their money?!
Fair play to the geezer for coming on here during our halcyon days and only right that we should wish him well as his team is promoted. Go on fella .. have a gloat .. but please direct it at KO and not the long suffering fans.
Would never speak ill of a player whilst he was with us but now that he's gone what an absolute waste of space Perkins was. Couldn't kick a ball, pass a ball, head a ball - played 45 games for us and was absolutely useless. I said in the last few games he'd be lucky to get a Conference club and so what the Hell Wigan have done getting this useless dwarf is beyond me!!
Just seen your headline about Mellis - in fairness he never really got a chance at Blackpool and when he did and started to do well we loaned him out. Put it this way as we're currently on about 4 players and no manager I'd have him back! Stuck a link up to the Blackpool site as we're on the same network if you ever fancy coming over and posting!
Probably no Riga, we'd have won a lot more and may have even bounced back and without all the unpleasantness or would it have happened anyway and we would just have had a shit season?
Seem to recall there was one on here at the tail of last season.
So decent first win at Derby but looking at the weather forecast I reckon there'll be more rain than runs vs Kent
Close of play on Day One Lancashire 317 for 5 - some decent batting points but would say we only have the first half of the day tomorrow to build on that.
My mate said he was at Manchester airport for a flight to Dubai last week and there was a tramp figure there with tracksuit bottoms, old trainers, hair everywhere and a Blackpool FC hoodie on - and yes it was Karl Oyston - bet First Class were delighted to welcome him on board!!
Had a discussion about this with a mate of mine - probably too soon to judge Clark results wise until he has a transfer window and even then he'll be playing survival tactics until the end of the campaign - do we think Karl will be happy for him to now do things his way of will he be judged like previous managers on results?
What do we think? Is this guy full of hot air or could he be the answer that we're looking for at Bloomfield Road. I would love to think he is the answer to our prayers but I have to say I just can't see the O's ever selling to him and I wonder if he knows this and therefore puts his head above the parapet knowing he can't be shot down?
