Keith Hill has allowed young winger Kallum Higginbotham to join up with John Coleman's Accrington Stanley for a month.

Kallum Higginbotham joins Accrington Stanley with Peterborough United centre back Kieran Charnock as they both look to give John Coleman's struggling Accrington side a boost over the next month.

Keith Hill's decision to loan out Higginbotham doesn't come as a surprise as the winger has struggled to make any impact with the first team this season.

Talking to the OS, Higginbotham said "There is nothing worse for me than to sit watching the team on a Saturday. I want to play, it is as simple as that".

"So I'm glad Accrington have come in for me as I now have the chance to play and I'm looking forward to it very much".

"Hopefully, if everything works out well, I should be able to impress the gaffer enough to stake a claim when I get back".

Let's hope Higginbotham enjoys his time with John Coleman's side and that it gives his season the kick-start it requires!
