Swansea City came home last week and maybe it is appropriate that the first home game against the ownership involves Jan Molby's first return to the Vetch since departing as player manager in 1998.
Molby was someone that was adored by the fans at the Vetch and his return will be welcomed although my guess is that the homecoming will be delayed with torrential rain currently falling in South Wales.
Team news wise, both Lee Jenkins and Mamady Sidibe seem set to return to the squad with Sidibe likely to start in place of John Williams whilst Jenkins may have to settle for a place on the bench at best.
Kidderminster boast one of the meanest defensive records in the division, having conceded just 28 goals in their 29 games to date and this makes the return of Sidibe all so more important with goals being at a premium at the Vetch Field already this season.
The crowd figure is providing some entertaining guesses at the moment and the consortium are appealing for fans to turn up and get behind them and the team as the new era at the Vetch Field unfolds.
A crowd of 5,500 will be a decent turn out and is the target figure of the consortium and we back their appeal for fans to turn up in numbers as the club continues through a very rocky patch financially.
This game will be no walk in the park - Molby's teams are traditionally well organised and disciplined (bar of course their keeper!) and Swansea would just love to ruin his return with another win to add to the one at Aggborough earlier in the season.
Will they do it? No. But of course the only reason I am saying that is that I expect the scoreline at 4.50 on Saturday to read Swansea P-P Kidderminster.
