Brian Flynn will be hoping his Swans side can continue their unbeaten run when League leaders Oxford United visit the Vetch Field tonight, for what promises to be the biggest test of the season so far.
Flynn is expected to stick with the side that moved into the 4th round of the F.A. Cup with the win over Macclesfield on Saturday. One possible change could be the absence of Karl Connolly, who picked up a calf injury. Who will replace him is the question on everyone's lips and whether skipper Roberto Martinez returns from injury remains to be seen.
Flynn's opposite number Ian Atkins is likely to be without ex-Swans striker Julian Alsop but is playing his cards close to his chest over who will replace Alsop up front. One ex-Swan who will start is defender Matt Bound, and he's sure to have a less than welcoming reception from the North Bank tonight.
With Flynn's team almost back to full strength and striker Lee Trundle seemingly scoring goals for fun at the moment, the match promises to be a cracker. But with Oxford flying high at the top of the table and unbeaten in their last fifteen League games, the Swans will have to be at their best if they're to take something from this match and get themselves back amongst the play-off places.
Another bumper Vetch Field crowd is expected and the atmosphere should be electric for this one. So get yourselves down there and shout for the boys.
