What was marek Saganowski doing training with the team at St Mary's yesterday.

Saints supporters attending the Family Fun Day at St Mary's were surprised to see Marek Saganowski training with the squad in thepublic training session held on the pitch.

It was assumed that Sagga was in Denmark with Aalborg BK, however a closer inspection reveals that for unspecified reasons he still hasnt played a game for them.

The simple answer for his appearance could be that he was back in Southampton tidying up a few things and was training with the squad to keep sharp, but if this was the case why would they publicly parade him in a training session, it would be more likely he would train privately at Staplewood, perhaps alongside the likes of Jason Euell etc.

His appearance sparks speculation that he is back at the Club, the reason for that, if that is the case is totally unclear, it could be one of several, perhaps the player couldnt settle over there, however it has to be said that Saganowski is a well travelled player, so thats hardly likely.

The more plausible reason is that Aalborg have failed to honour the financial commitment, to either saints or the player himself.

This being tha case, then it obviously puts Saints back a step in their quest to get wages off the books.

However the big worry for Saints fans is just how badly the Club itself are handling the PR side of things, by publicly putting Sagganowski on show, they must have known that this would create speculation and that being the case, they should have had a clear and concise reason for his presence out in the media, even before the team took to the pitch.
