Akinfenwa was signed from Torquay by Kenny Jackett last season, Bayo has played for 8 clubs in 5 years, including Lithuanian club Atlantas, where he won a league and cup medal.
He then made a handful of appearances for 3 different league clubs before finally getting his chance to prove himself at Plainmoor; he scored 16 goals for a relegated Torquay, before moving to Swansea - where he was Swansea's third top goal scorer last season with 15 goals.
Last season Bayo scored the first league goal at the White Rock and formed a good partnership with fellow striker Trundle, during the Christmas period Bayo looked overweight and it showed in his performances as the rest of the team also struggled.
Akinfenwa looked to have improved his fitness in the latter part of the season, scoring some vital goals as the Swans made the play offs, he also scored the winner in the Football League Trophy Final in Cardiff, before missing a vital penalty in the shoot out at the same venue.
With four strikers currently at the White Rock, Akinfenwa will have to work hard to get himself in the team, a big striker who's very good on the floor and holds up the ball very well, he does miss a lot of headers and can also look lazy at times.
