Swans Set For Double Transfer Swoop? Wednesday, 31st Dec 2008 15:54 Swansea City look set for a double transfer swoop - at least according to the Chairman.... Tonight's Evening Post is reporting that Swansea City are keen to make a double transfer swoop especially after missing out on Nial McGinn. The Chairman told the paper "Roberto has said for some time that he wants a wide player and as yet we haven't brought one in "Niall McGinn was someone we were looking at and he has gone elsewhere, but we have still got a few options we are looking at. "Everybody seems to be after the same players, so it could be that any moves are difficult to complete. "But whether it's on a permanent basis or a loan, we are looking to do a deal. "We will have to wait and see what happens with Gorka and with Febian," Jenkins added. "There is some uncertainty there at the moment, but it could be that Roberto looks to cover that position. "Our chief scout, Kevin Reeves, was out watching a game in Holland last weekend," said Jenkins. "Roberto is looking for players both at home and abroad."
