The Swans have been linked - along with Plymouth Argyle with a move for Danny Haynes

Sky Sports link both Championship sides with a move for Haynes and report that an approach is due for the player who only recently signed a 2 year contract at Portman Road.

Haynes has scored 19 goals in 128 appearances for the Tractor Boys and has potentially never filled the potential that many believe he has although many of his appearances have been from the substitute's bench.

Haynes did not score a league goal last season although he did net twice in a Carling Cup victory over Leyton Orient.

Swansea are reported as looking to strengthen their striking options and with Jason Scotland seemingly setting his heart on a move elsewhere a move for Haynes could well be in the offing.
