MK Dons Home Leg Brought Foward
MK Dons Home Leg Brought Foward

The second leg of the JPT area final has been brought forwward a week but that could effect the crowd.

Saints have announced that the home leg of the JPT against MK Dons has been moved forward a week to Tuesday February 9th kick off 7pm in case the tie is selected for television coverage.

However this is a little short sighted in that the original date for the gaame was in half term week meaning that kids would be far more likely to be allowed to go than for the new date.

If the game is selected for viewing then obviously that will not only bring in extra revenue for Saints (Although not that much inthis competition) but allow more people to see the game, but if it isnt then there will be a few disapointed Children who wont be able to see their team due haaving to go to school the next day.

I accept that Saints have been forward thinking in bringing kick off time to 7pm, but even this early time still sees a 9pm finish and later if there are penalties, that means for most people they wouldnt get home much before 10pm and for younger fans that way past their bedtime with school the next day.

Its only a minor point and this season Saints have made great strides in forward thinking, but they will get some things wrong and I think this is one of them
