My money is that the club will be sold, and as your columnist SF73 suggested in his article "From the flip side" it will be sold to a consortium headed by none other than Nicola Cortese. Returning as an owner and with much greater power. He seems a man that doesn't like to walk away from things, let's hope so.

It would seem he was no better at keeping his employer in the loop than he was with regard to communicating with the fans. He did not welcome interference, and information was only shared on a need to now basis. Its likely that this produced a less than enthusiastic response from the Liebherrs, which led to the debacle over last summer s signings. He didnt change and this led to no agreement with regard to this month s transfer window, suddenly there was no money to spend. The Liebherrs are likely to retain the club, indeed it may even be transferred to the main Liebherr portfolio, with Katarina falling out of the picture quite quickly. I dont know what experience she has but its unikely to be sufficient to run a business of this size The fact that she is chairman has more to do with the time needed to implement corporate style changes which involves quite a lot of legal work and may explain why she spent a week in her london lawyers offices. I simply cant see them allowing players to leave just because Cortese has gone and indeed this is likely to be reiterated at tomorrows player meeting. There is no need for upheaval I expect a new CEO to be in pace within a few days and following restructuring other legal changes may follow. Football is big business these days and Saints have one of the best structures in the world now, and Saints worth is in the region of 200 million based o what was obtained for Fulham FC. i AM PRAYING THAT i AM ON THE RIGHT TRACK!!!!

It does appear that Katharina has a bit more grace than Nicola. She has at least thanked him for his contribution to the club. (Unlike the disgraceful sackings of Adkins and Pardew).

Why does Pochettino have to leave?
If he does, he shows more loyalty to Nicola than Nicola did to any of his previous managers. Hopefully everyone will calm down, let the dust settle and make any decisions at the end of the season when things are clearer.
