![]() Monday, 10th Mar 2008 23:30 A look ahead to another round of midweek fixtures in the Coca Cola Championship. Yet again, the football fan is going have to dig deep, take time off from work/college etc etc and get travelling around the country for another round of midweek games. Sending fans of Plymouth Argyle on a Tuesday night, just about sums things up. There wasn't quite a full programme at the weekend as three Championship sides featured in the FA Cup Quarter Finals and as you already know, the same three teams are sitting proudly in the Semis and are getting ready for a trip to Wembley. Congratulations go to Barnsley, Cardiff and West Brom. It also meant that the Championship will definitely be represented in this years final. Onto the midweek action and he clear stand out fixture comes from Ashton Gate as league leaders Bristol City face third placed Watford. The Hornets are excellent away from home and will need to be so again if they’re to avoid a seven point gap opening up between them and the top spot.
Second placed Stoke have a tricky away game at Norwich to look forward to – West Brom will be waiting to profit from any dropped points when they play Palace at home on Wednesday. Two of the bottom three, Sheff Wed and Colchester, face each other at Layer Road. Tuesday, 11 March, 2008
