Still No Decision On Michu Future

Three years ago on the opening day of the season it was Michu who surprised the Premier League with a brace in the Swans emphatic 5-0 win over QPR at Loftus Road.

It was a perfect start to a Premier League career that for twelve months looked like it had very few equals as he fired the goals that saw the Swans get a top half Premier League finish and the Capital One Cup into the equation as well.

But it all turned sour from pretty much the weekend after our famous win in Valencia and the Swans and now the saga of when he will leave the Swans rumbles on.

The club and the players' representatives are still working towards a solution which will see Michu finally leave the club and presumably move back to Spain where he will try and kick start a career that won him a Spanish cap just two years ago.

However, the talks are not moving on that quickly and speaking after Saturday's 0-0 draw with Deportivo La Coruna manager Garry Monk said “ We are still trying to come to an agreement that suits both parties but it is the same situation as we spoke about before

“He has just a year left on his contract and looking to come to an agreement that suits both him and the club.”

That agreement is supposed to be related to Michu's wages that were raised after that first season at the club which is now completely souring in the eyes of many what was a memorable period for the club.

The sooner an agreement is reached for Michu to move on the better for all concerned?
