Austin Gets Three Match Ban ! Monday, 25th Dec 2017 11:46 Charlie Austin has been hit by a three match ban for his challenge on Huddersfield keeper Jonas Lossl on Saturday. Austin will now miss the games at Spurs and Manchester United as well as the home fixture against Crystal Palace, although ironically he would probably have missed these games anyway after picking up a hamstring injury in the late stages of the draw at St Mary's. "Charlie Austin will be suspended for Southampton's next three matches after he was charged with violent conduct. He accepted the charge but argued the suspension was excessive. This was rejected by an Independent Regulatory Commission," the FA said. Photo: Action Images via Reuters Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
