Lee extends loan to end of the season

Dale's on loan goalkeeper Tommy Lee has extended his loan deal and will remain at Spotland for the rest of the season.

Lee joined Dale on loan from Macclesfield Town a month ago, and has been a permanent fixture between the sticks ever since. But with the likely post-season Play Offs to look forward, Dale boss Keith Hill was quick to ensure that Lee remained at Spotland for the duration.

Both Spencer and Russell are expected to be ruled out for the rest of the 2007-8 campaign due to a hernia and finger injury respectively, so Dale will continue to rely on loan keepers Tommy Lee and David Button.
