Anything goes well SLS was here and once issued the record rated the worst of its time. He had at various times Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck in his band and his recordings didn't demonstrate what a great showman he was.
Glad you posted that Somerset. Made me laugh. Boy, how the music industry today could do with a few eccentrics like Lord Sutch. Great stuff! Check out those background posters. The Kinks, Long John Baldry, The Nashville Teens, the latter I saw over 30 years a go in a dingy club attached to Wimbledon's old Plough Lane stadium. There was only 4 of us in the audience, myself and 3 other mates. They played for about 30 minutes and then called it a day for good I suspect, after that evening.
