Agree, best I've seen Taylor play in a long time. He obviously enjoyed not having a winger in front of him. Cork too. With a few more points and confidence returning we should start looking to get something out of every game again. |  |

I thought Taylor would be in the running for MOM along with Leon and Ash. Can't moan about his botched clearance as it came to nothing. Ash could just as easily and deservedly given away a late penalty which would have been unforgivable. | |

I was thinking early doors how different his game was tonight. One of the reasons that they could not press on. I also thought that Naughton had a much better game and look what happens when you keep Leon on the pitch until the end (though he was tiring). Another reason was the endless work ethic of Siggy and Ayew put a shift in too.
A captain's performance and great goal by Ash and i was expecting 5 minutes of added time when you take in to account Ayews injury.

I thought he looked Shakey and nervous as hell with a few mistakes that luckily didn't get punished. So did Fernandez though. Tayls did get forward more tonight though. [Post edited 19 Jan 2016 0:01]

Well I thought Ash started a bit edgy like most, but after 10 mins or so settled down and really put in a great captains/MOM performance. Leon, well he was just Leon... excellent for 80 minutes till he tired at the end. Taylor did better but like others said God what was he thinking with that careless header near the end? Thought Naughton did ok too, but I wish he'd stop playing free-kicks back to Fernández, who then in turn passes back to Fabianski who then proceeds to kick aimlessly away to the opposition. Overall though only one poor performance and he needs to get his act together....
But hey, chuffed to bits we got three points tonight... Well done lads!!!
