We upped the tempo got a bit more rub of the green and what we deserved. We have the quality and the aggression which will be key in a few games.
It still wasn't tidy in patches but glad to get that one out of the way especially with the 3 points. The up and under bus was thrown at us and we brought on our own giant. Shame the Ronald rocket was saved.
Well done Swansea.

Daft feckers, 2 minutes in to added on and they pass back with ref's whistle in mouth. Swansea have to start the second with far more urgency. They have the players and the ability just use the quality. |

My silly suggestion of the day
We get a big dinghy and fill it with Swansea Independent poster and sail from France (leave our passports aside) and rock up on the south coast (with all the camera crews filming) claim asylum saying that we just want free everything as we want to get value for all the taxes we have already paid
Knowing my luck the French police would actually do their job |

My Lewis family has, so far, been traced to back to Tumble in the 1700's and it get's a bit difficult from before then. These ancestry sites are great for dna matches and helping put some family trees and doubts in order |

My wish is more simple.
I wish our land to be called Briton
Never again then would I have to here those shallow, almost moronic words "back in England".
Our DNA shows us what we are and are more closely related than many would like.
It would get rid of those telling us we shouldn't be playing in an english league as well. |

I was at home in our new house in Cwmtwrch. A day off and was with my builder and plasterer. The radio was on, probably radio two as they were old gits and the DJ Steve Wright. He said there was a report of a small aircraft hitting one on the towers. We thought that was really odd as it would be difficult to get in that zone. What seemed like a minute later they said another small plane had hit the other tower.
Alarm bells. Drove down to my mum's house to get some proper news and left the builders to it.

I was thinking of Rich getting unlucky with the weather.
We were great in patches and panicked in patches.
We got lucky with mistakes when we were unlucky with other things.

Is that true. The figure I have is that Labour get between 7 and 10 million annually in non election years and that includes money from the unions.
Reform have had £72 million in the last day from two donors. Something not right about that. The amount of coverage that £72 million will buy in the internet world stage is crazy. |

One of the crazy things about what people talk about education standards is that those who "fall short" are mainly more than capable in adult life and may go on to excel in chosen careers. Unfortunately the new model sees kids almost having to go to university just to get a job on minimum wage. The kids are constrained in an education system that doesn't suit them in an environment that doesn't support them and then end up with lower results because of a failing system that could be due to the curriculum or the teachers just aren't good enough. Then they end up with the lower results that everyone criticizes and ultimately in universities that just make up the numbers from graduate prospects.
2% of Welsh kids go to private school and 7% of English kids go to private school - does that affect the results? We live in Bishopston where the school has an excellent record but most kids have tuition after school because the standard isn't as good as people may think it is. All these things add up in the grand scheme of things.
This country has been robbed of it's language over years and I, like many have relatives who only spoke Welsh and I can not accept the language disappearing in spite of the above disparity in results. If there was no Welsh language our results would not be any different.
I understand that welsh speaking schools actually perform worse than their counterparts despite a higher socio economic group but then again, the teaching pool is a smaller group for these school.
Overall we have been performing poorly because it is Wales and we suffer because of that and not because we are inherently stupid |
