Woy having a winge 11:31 - Aug 28 with 7878 viewsJonathans_coat

“I think we will have to use our squad,” said the ex-England manager.
“Swansea have very kindly insisted on the game being played on Tuesday despite us playing on Sunday.
“They have also insisted that we can’t play a player [Ayew] that we have paid money to loan. That’s another player we can’t use.
“So we won’t have too much option unless we are prepared to play Sunday, Tuesday, Saturday and I don’t think there will be too many Premier League teams looking forward to playing their first teams in those situations.”

Getting his excuses in before the game is a new tactic!

Isn’t not allowing a loaned player to play against you absolutely standard practice (and common sense!). Two words Woy, second one is “off”!

I believe the rule on loan players not playing their parent club is a PL rule. However, I have no zero sympathy here. If they wanted him properly they should have stumped up the cash but they didn’t.

Also, regarding the fixture change, a Tuesday match is better than a Wednesday match for us as it gives us more time to prepare for Millwall away so why the fck should we disadvantage ourselves to accommodate them?

Also we are still paying 30k+ a week of Ayews wage so Woy can do one.

We've got a Checkatrade game today as well, Roy. Things aren't ideal for anyone.

Madness. Fair enough when you're loaning down to a club that can't afford (e.g. a PL youngster going to League 1 or 2). But that's crazy if true.

Doubt that's true. He wouldn't have been on a huge wage anyway (by PL standards). That would also have come down a bit following relegation

I've no reason to doubt the info but agreed it angered me when I was told also.

In March 2017 it was reported Jordan was earning £50k per week, he was one of our highest earners only behind Siggy & Llorente.

Maybe a punch in the face will help Roy see things from our perspective.

Good luck, Mr Cooper

Woy is clearly losing the plot. He even tried to say on the weekend that Zaha wasn't a diver.

That can’t be right? Andre was on less than that when we signed him from Villa. Why would we loan out a player and not recover most of our costs? Typically PL clubs cover loan fees and wages.

Its what I was told.

Would make sense considering the players we sold for next to nothing, we were desperate to get rid it seems.

Jordan not Andre.

Excuses for if they lose? Or just losing the plot?
