Aye, because men never lie to their girlfriends eh? Especially jumped up, young professional footballers.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Nearer 5k a week plus bonuses

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

£15,000 a week according to this - even that seems high for young player even if he was expected to feature week in week out.

He's a young player who was brought into his former club - known high-payers Sunderland - with much fanfare while they were in the Premier League. Became their youngest ever PL player and bigger clubs than ours were looking at him until his agent scared them off with his demands. Had a year left on his deal and looked like he might wait for it to expire. Little chance he was a budget signing.

Highly-rated young players are on a lot more than they're practically worth as part of the whole "speculate to accumulate" idea that people think is so clever. Big club academies hand out £10k-15k contracts all the time to make sure they get/keep the kids they want, and that has a knock on effect all through the divisions.

We were in the middle of a fire sale when he signed. Speculating to accumulate wasn’t high on the agenda.
