| Barca v Bayern on 21:59 - Aug 14 by Noelmc | Crazy game. Could easily have ended 12-6. If Citeh can beat Lyon, their semi-final with Bayern should be entertaining with plenty of goals. |
Without doubt BM were relentless and smelled blood in the water early then just swarmed Barca. However it drove home the difference between an aging and confused Barca defense and a very aggressive and exciting BM line up .I know Muller and Lewandowski are no spring chickens but they are amazing together and know how to grab goals.Look at Muller the ball was almost behind him yet he managed to bang it home without rupturing anything . The Barca keeper kept playing the ball out from the back straight to BM players who moved it around brilliantly . City will beat Lyon IMO but that shaky back 4 will get a roasting on tonights form

It's definitely more entertaining with one leg... but I agree with Wright. No way UEFA gives up that extra revenue. Read a good piece in the NY Times today that suggested it would be a good idea for Europa League, though. Much less $$ on the line, plus would give it a philosophical separation from UCL. It's floundering anyways, so why not give it a shot?

I actually think the way they've handled this would be a really interesting permanent approach to the UEFA cup. Do whatever pre stages to get to the final 8. Bring them all into a central location for the QF, SF and Final over the course of a week at the end of May. The unique structure will make it interesting to viewers, it's a tourist event and money spinner for the host city.

You’ve got to fancy Bayern after last night but City (assuming they win tonight!) will get chances and they surely can’t defend as badly as Barca last night.
| Barca v Bayern on 23:56 - Aug 15 with 994 views | CLAREMAN1995 | I am still in shock at Sterling's miss tonight that basically finished City off and the match up with Bayern Munich is gone by the way side . We were shocked how bad the Barcelona backline were but City were not much better and the starting line up a bit of a mystery . Still when KDB scored that beauty it looked like City would go on and win it but thats why they play the games I guess . Another couple of VAR moments that will be debated but its looking like a PSG V Bayern final and I will sign up for that in a heartbeat | | | |

Didn’t realise Herr Flick went on to manage Bayern. https://vignette.wikia.nocooki
