People should be able to make their own mind up now about going to big events, you need a negative test or a vaccine to go anyway so if you are worried don't go if not there should be nothing stopping you


The whole fiendish complexity/ambiguity, in case you haven't realised, is that (as at least some studies suggest, as well as documented experience), (i) you can be vaccinated and still be infected, symptomatically or not, and (ii) the vaccine does not necessarily block transmissibility if you're a carrier. Otherwise, the libertarian argument (to which my politics would be sympathetic) would indeed be a straightforward one. Unfortunately, it isn't.
