I really think I'll silence the two FB accounts though, particularly the Optimistic QPR one which seems to be chock full of people clamouring to be as nihilistic as possible.

The explanation about the accounts needs saying over and over and over.
Those who don't understand that will keep demanding the unachievable and the message will never get through.
ST & gate income doesn't even pat the wages of the first team squad. Owners putting in over £1m per month. We are going to have to sell one of the assets for big money in a declining market.
