The Petobismol pink kit from the McClaren season was our third kit the year after but Warburton refused to have the team in it allegedly. Resulted in us playing in the light sky blue number at Fulham which did not amuse the referee who'd said we'd need to wear pink for that one. |

Interesting VAR thing on that goal. Confirmed in seconds. Premier League would have spent at least 4 mins deciding whether the Japanese player was a) offside, b) touched the ball, c) interfered with play if he didn't touch the ball, d) obscured the goalkeeper if he did interfere but didn't touch. |

Do we think that as of about half time last night in Morocco v Brazil that the better teams have clocked there's no point killing each other in the first group game, a draw is great?

I’ve thought about it a lot today and I’m torn between occasion/history just weighing so heavy on them that they couldn’t perform, but also the qualifiers I did watch (particularly the Denmark and Greece games) they do leave themselves insanely open in transition which is what kept occurring last night. You can’t do that against that Morocco side, surely? |
