I just want to give credit to this lad today he played well. So it's low confidence not lack of ability.
Let's give Andy a YJB man of the match today

Well an awful lot of recurring low confidence I'd say if thats the case.

Also being a young keeper, he is a baby in keeper terms.
He had a fantastic game today. There is a decent championship keeper in there somewhere 👏 well done Fish

He played well today but let’s not get carried away. He lacks some very basic attributes that make a good keeper - stature, bravery being two. But credit today for sure.

As a precious few with minds more open than a nun's knees have previously said, he's not a great keeper by any stretch but could be a capable one. The raw materials are there.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

That's one of the very few games i can remember him not being a liability, he has cost us so many games i wont be giving him any praise any time soon, i would rather they put a dustbin in goal than Fisher

Excellent today, but most of all he’s showed that strength of character that’s needed. He knows he’s made costly mistakes and has been low on confidence but he’s bounced back in style today and deserves praise. Three or four very good saves.

Credit where it’s due. 👏

Just looked at the table and we are just lower mid table.
Not safe yet ,Hudds another a roll, and Rotherham digging in.
Not exactly a season to have a stiffy over is it really unless it’s Russy and his winning smile that does the trick.

This is where we are. Just about mid table and people are bashing the bishops .

Did what he had to do to make up for others mistakes today, all players make them but goalie's tend to stand out.
Proving he is working on reducing those mistakes and is capable of doing so remains to be seen.

It must be noted a number of mistakes have come after our outfield player make mistakes or fail and unable to do the job asked of them.

Example Burnleys second game against us first goal I think. Manning missed a tackle, Cabango didn't track back with the man on the ball cutting across field because he thought he had to mark a player running off the ball, enabling a shot to be delivered which went throught Fishers hands.
Three mistakes in all but Fisher had to take the brunt of the criticism.

So to be fair to him he kept a clean sheet and kept us in the game. Hope he can keep learning and having clean sheets.

Yesterday he came out much more and his positioning was better. Do the basics right and his game will improve.
