Ok, using your rules any country that has existed less than 100 years should ceaae to exist

Algeria 1962
Angola 1975
Benin 1960
Botswana 1966...................oh balls to it.

Kilky, look it up, there are a lot of countries less than 100 years old, I don't know what age has to do with it. Except you probably chose 100 years because the RoI has been a country for 103 years, there is that.

The nation is Ireland and it pre-dates England.
The first evidence of human presence in Ireland dates to around 34,000 years ago,
Ireland was seperated into 2 by England in 1922.

As they say in Ireland …. God makes the boundaries of Ireland, not the English.
Just look at the island of Ireland.
There is clue there for you.

A clue for you, Henry Vii, 1541. Before that date Ireland wasn't a country, it was like Wales, a territory of warring tribes.

God didn't make the boundaries of any country, men and women did. Every time you take a stab at history you get it very wrong.

The internet eh, google could be your friend but instead you choose to go all Joe Grimaldi on us. Your username, change it to something more apt...clownface maybe!

You are imposing your Anglo version of nationhood on others.

If the ancient nations of Ireland and Wales evolved into a society with warring tribes rather than a God like make believe head of church king, then who is to say its in anyway inferior.
Its different but we celebrate differences or the world would be as boring as you are.

You will be telling us next that the native peoples of north America and Australia were also inferior.

Repeat after me …. The Kings of England dont get to tell the nations of Ireland and Wales when they became nations.

There is a reason why the Normans took 200 years more to conquer Wales compared to England.

Who gives a flying F what people call themselves, be it Welsh, English, British, European or anything else. It matters not a jot as long as the individual is happy with their decision. If others can't accept it, they really need to look at the reason why. Possibly there is an inner problem that needs rectifying.

Not really, the point is that you are born where you are born, which country is an accident of birth and what we all have in common is we are citizens of the same planet. Countries are divisive and destructive.

Whatit says on your passport is usually your country of birth. People can live anywhere they wish (well ok, not ANYWHERE) but it doesn't make them that nationality and civic responsibility should be there with all of us, follow the rules, fit in, don't break laws or cause trouble. It shouldn't be hard.

Or, what is your point? Do you have one?
