Looking to the fans for the 'extra mile, extra energy'! As if we/they haven't given it up in spades already!

Would prefer it if he put the boot on the other foot and said we and the team really owe the fans, but that wouldn't be modern football, would it? (Accountability, respect, and other such quaint sporting values.)

Field's return gives us some ballast at least, hopefully.

Wake me up before we go-go (or maybe when we've gone-gone), Marti!

Poll: Playoffs?

He's said that the team owe the fans on plenty of occasions, and its blindingly obvious to most of us (but apparently not to you - no surprise there) that he cares passionately about the fanbase and has not forgotten how everyone got behind him in the home game at Stoke when I think even he had begun to think he was not long for his world.

Its getting extremely tiring being consistently exposed to your unwarranted finger-pointing. There's enough drama going on with the current on-field situation without you adding fuel to the flames.

Where's the drama? I have my view, I justify it, and you have yours. In the meantime, if you feel 'tired', go and have a lie-down, eh?

I'm not sure I saw any "justification" in what you wrote - just a pointed barb designed to stir up unease for no good reason.

Of all the injured players the one that I would like to see return first is Sam Field, so great news.

If involved he will more than likely be on the bench but he has to start against Oxford.

Fans have been brilliant all season, in fact every season we are here turning up in great numbers to support the complete dross that the management and players serve up.

I wonder if the club will be carrying out a full review of performance across every department again soon?

Once again, it's called having an opinion, mate, and giving reasons for it. What's your idea of a football message board? One where we all sit in the sun and nod sagely at whatever you happen to think that week?

We're all VERY familiar with your "opinions", and your particular chosen mode of expressing them.
I repeat, as it appears that despite your often over-loud protetstaions about how no-one reads your messages in the right way and always attacks you for no reason, that you didn't bother reading my earlier message with the requisite care and attention that you demand from others. You posted something attacking the manager's communications style in a way that demonstrtates that you clearly feel you know better than him, but made absolutely no attempt to back up your argument with any factual content.
