A Hulluva Hard Game Match Thread
at 14:54 21 Feb 2026

Rollercoaster Rangers, awful one week and great the next. Go figure.

Thoroughly deserved win, we worked very hard, got better and better as the game went on wearing Hull down, showing far more attacking intent than the home team.

Great strike and confidence booster for Bennie. Thank goodness Richard tucked away his third chance, his confidence would have been shot if he had missed all three.

Place your bets as to which Rangers will turn up on Tuesday night. Urrrrssss!

From his positioning RND was concentrating on not letting the Hull player cut inside so the Hull player went on the outside easily. The ball did come at Edwards with pace, just one of those things.

We have to keep on doing what we have been doing during the first half, concentrate, keep our shape and hopefully create a couple of chances.

Really liked Bradford's finest back in the day.

I would be surprised if they had the opportunity.

I am surprised that the question is still being asked.

We pocketed a lot of money for Sinclair and he got a higher paid, long contract.

Possible but it would require Julien to be more reactive, decisive and attack minded away from home.

If we lose a game, especially at home, I want to lose in the style of QPR 2 v Man City 3 from 2011 not whatever that was on Saturday.

Apart from his welcome interview I haven't watched a single Julien interview, just can't face it, not sure why.

Can't beat a little Clouseau. Was lucky enough to watch Return Of and Strikes Again on release in Leicester Square, a packed cinema roaring with laughter, another thing of the past.

I miss the old shaving mug and brush. Before shaving you put hot water on your face to soften the beard and open the pores and then apply cold gel or foam from an aerosol can.

Prefer foam.

I had a Turkish shave in Istanbul years ago. The barber placed a tea towel in a Pyrex bowl, poured boilng water over it and then placed it directly on my face. Such a relief when he finally removed it, unfortunately he repeated the process. Wife thoroughly enjoyed watching it.

I don't know if you read the match thread Clive but you will find plenty of frustration on there! I wasn't bothered about the subs waiting to come on for so long because the game was already lost.

We got a couple warnings before their second goal. At half time most of us knew that changes were needed but we also knew that Julien was highly unlikely to do anything. No surprise that they got a third after five minutes of the second half.

Make those substitutions at half time and we might, might, have got something out of the game. The injuries to Kone and Madsen would not happen.

I am still leaning towards us losing the game rather than Blackburn winning it. Julien is doing himself no favours, making changes too late when we are on the back foot and his lack of decisiveness is there for everyone to see.

A flop when originally released, a wonderful piece of Thom Bell soul. Sky Sports picked it up years later as a part of their footy coverage and it then became a hit.

I heard Patrice Rushen on the stream so anything else is forgiven.

I will cut him some slack as he has not been playing regulary and picking up injuries. I am a believer of the players need games theory.

He is struggling with the physicality of The Championship and should be speaking to Madsen who has corrected this side of his game.

I do get your point qpr_1968 but it was only two weeks ago that we beat the league leaders and played well against Wrexham before that.

For many seasons we have been so inconsistent, rising up the table only to slide back down again.

It makes days like today so frustrating.

They deserved to win the game as they exploited the gaps in our midfield and defence that we failed to rectify. First goal was a peach.

Julien made no attempt to change things until the game was lost, if the changes had come much earlier I feel it wouldn't have been a 1-3 game, that was my point.

Can't keep making excuses for the injuries.

You start the game 11 v 11 and you adapt as the game progresses which we didn't do today leaving our midfield and defence wide open until we conceded three.

As far as QPR is concerned i am more than happy to settle for 16th place and head off to The Maldives.
