The most frustrating thing for me, apart from the usual lack of fight, is seeing our free kicks hitting the front man time after time. In our predicament you have to make your set pieces count.

You cant help but feel that the players would breathe a sigh of relief should Julien depart.

His team selections, his late changes, his players losing the ability to control a football and pass it to a team mate.

Julien picking the wrong starting line up time after time and then fixing it with substitutions.

Putting Saito in that position tonight beggars belief.

I appreciate that our players will be nervous, low on confidence, but they are regressing as footballers. Cant control the ball, cant pass the ball.

What on earth are they doing in training?

Plenty of bodies around but the cross was still allowed to come in and the goal scorer not marked.

Basic stuff.

Our fans still singing, good on you lads.

WLS - Edwards might be moved into QPR’s midfield
at 16:18 11 Mar 2026

Better footballers unfortunately cost money.

We do need a couple of new faces in midfield especially an annoying aggressive type which we haven't had for years. We still need a right back and left back. maybe a keeper, it's never ending. Hopefully up front and in centre defence we are ok for the time being.

Obviously for a team in our position, battling the Profit and Sustainability regulations, recruitment really has to be spot on. Expensive failures have a long term effect.

Players like Sam Field are very important to us not only because they are decent footballers but because they can play in several positions, vital when you have a small squad. I am hoping that Ronnie Edwards will be in the same mould.

Hayden appeared to be a good signing at the time but he has disappointed me lately, as the senior pro on the pitch I am expecting more from him both in performance and encouraging everyone around him.

Sam is under contract to us Pedro, we decide where he goes.

Irrelevant anyway as seemingly senior pro's are not welcome here.

So what are we going to do about it?
at 06:39 10 Mar 2026

The question I would like answered is why, during the past few seasons, we go on a good run, climb the table, get around the top six and then put the club in to reverse and slide down the table.

Injuries is not the answer.

It’s right up there alongside; What is the meaning of life.

Not saying that he doesn't give the ball away sometimes but as the lone striker he often has two or three defenders on him and often no quick lay off opportunities.

Kone has shown that he can be a decent finisher but we are not creating the chances for him.

Not sure why you are comparing him to Lyndon who missed some wonderful chances during his time here, Richard hasn't even had the opportunities to do that.

Missing all those chances created for him.

Winning headers in the top two thirds of the pitch has been an issue all season.

Bloodbath at Birmingham
at 21:27 8 Mar 2026

Birmingham are two points ahead of us, an average Championship team.

I would hope that the club would see this as an opportunity to right some wrongs and attempt to replicate the away result at Hull.

Julien has to put some fire in to his players bellies, play for the badge which hopefully won't be pink.

Vale has potential but was missing for a lot of the game today not helped by being played in a wide position, he did have some good moments.

Lots of names being mentioned for poor performances but not many mentions of Hayden, the senior pro out there today. Not scapegoating him but he has disappointed me in most games recently.

One of the main complaints is that the Boro players will wake up tomorrow, pain free and without bruises.
