| Fabrizio Romano - how he does it (allegedly) 10:34 - Mar 6 with 3468 views | KensalT | Transfer speculation is always popular in the football world and Fabrizio Romano has steadily established himself as the top boy of the "itk" world. Nick Harris on his Substack has gone in studs first on Fabrizio. You can find the link in his tweet. There's some eye-opening stuff in there | | | | |

| Fabrizio Romano - how he does it (allegedly) on 20:02 - Mar 6 by PeterHucker | I remember years ago when the August transer window closed, a website (I think it was Football365) did an article where they ranked all the national newspapers by what percentage of transfers they'd reported on were actually accurate. Can't remember which shıtrag came out top of the pile but I do know that they had about 7 or 8 percent of their stories were accurate. and that's the one that did the best. The whole bullshıt hype around transfers, yet another reason to hate modern football. |
Your comment made me think about the old days before the transfer windows were introduced. The PL has a page on its website about the origins of the transfer windows. They started in 2002/03 and the Brexiteers among us will be delighted to know it was Europe's fault: https://www.premierleague.com/ Part of me would like to go back to the old system. But the other part of me thinks it will just put even more power in the hands of the wealthy clubs and for the likes of us we are better off with the transfer windows Although under the old system we would only need to get JCS fit for five consecutive games to persuade some Redknapp-type to take him off our hands for silly money.

Well said Patrick! I assume this bloke hasn't put a gun to his subscribers' heads either.

| Fabrizio Romano - how he does it (allegedly) on 05:09 - Mar 8 with 226 views | numptydumpty | I read the article. People can make big money in football and once at a certain level, they dont even have to play that well. Ask a current Tottenham player. The guy knows how to gain followers and realised the appetite for transfer news and click bait headlines and material and obviously has no qualms over who sponsors him, as long as the money is good. It just mirrors the modern game. Big money exists once you become known, Not really much of a story today - as people make weird amounts of money in all sorts of weird and strange ways. The watchalong types like Mark Goldberg having meltdowns over Man Utd's non performances - and he is a multi millionaire on the back of these activities.... Not for me. Am happy making my very small earners helping others. Some like this guy Fabrizio, couldn't give a sh*t, how they stay rich and powerful - more fool the people that follow him - lining his pockets. He doesnt care, as long as the money comes in. We have all worked with the mouthy one - the one that s*cked up to the bosses to get to be one him/herself. And then shafted all and sundry to remain there. These people are in all industries and the rich ones, in general, not always, but definitely more regularly than not, know how to play the game for their own financial gain. More fool all the people that follow Fabrizio, as they help him practice this ridiculous charade for money. But surprising news - not at all !! | |
