I always thought that Blue Peter was total dribble for the kids, totally out of tune with what they want. 30 years prior, it was in tune, as kids were different. But the format stayed the same as children & society changed. I take it we, as BBC tax payers, are paying for this? Wonder how long it is before someone totally vandalises it, and we hear how today's children are just inbred dingoes. |  |

The day Biddy Baxter retired was the beginning of the end for Blue Peter. Most of the people that presented it in later years didn't want to be there, it was a means to an end. It's got so bad now it's going, or maybe gone over to the CBBC channel as no one watches it.
