That depends. If there is more money to be got from TV rights at home and abroad than there is from tickets, then the fans are just optional extras. Perhaps that's why Allam said Hull fans "can die as soon as they want". | |

I was basing my reply on the assumption that The Hull owner was stating that if he can't change the name he will have to incresae ST's by 50% to accrue the same amount of income. Therefore, he implies that without the name change he would not gain outside revenue & a refusal to pay extra by the fans would leave him decreasing the takings.
