About 3 weeks ago our 23s played Chelsea at Cobham. Chelseas team was made up of their youngsters looking to go out on loan. We took one of them , Charlie Wakefield, on trial it appears and he scored on his debut for our under 23s away to Barnsley last Friday. [Post edited 17 Aug 2018 21:08]

I believe this is the young man, who when aged 18, bought his dad a £25,000 Jag for his 50th birthday so I'm guessing that Chelsea may be continuing to pay his wages - as I can't imagine we can afford to do so!!
