So this is where the anomaly is for me. I use the following option - but still I get random Yaxley threads, Fox threads and other toxic, bigoted nonsense on my account. I have absolutely no issue with all of these click for money grifter accounts existing and having the 'free speech' option of spouting their rhetoric - as has been proved, they seem to find their audience, much like the incel audience do (quite often the same people) What I object to is it being pushed onto me. This then questions the narrative of where exactly the control lies. Personally, I think Musk only supports free speech when he can control who is seeing what and when. I don't want to close anything down, or stop anyone posting whatever floats their boat, I just want the fact that I have not elected in to be observed.
Will be joining you and Brian and giving it a try. twitter has become a cesspit of absolute right wing nonsense, yaxley lennon, fox and all those other morons that I have absolutely no connection with but appear on my feed more than the stuff I follow. Such a shame because I used to enjoy flitting in and out of it.... now it just makes me angry....
I think he's really impressive - he moves us 10 yards up the field, receives the ball and looks for the forward ball, rather than with his back to the opponents goal, always looking for the pass. He also makes Varane a better player. Obviously there were a couple of loose balls - especially toward the end of the game, but he didn't let it get him down and remained positive. He's a great prospect for us.
Hold your Deep Purple and I will place the whole pot on Swans at the Forum. Loud to the extent of unpleasant. Special mention also goes to My Bloody Valentine, same venue.
from the outset, it almost feels like a case within a case. The PL have to be seen to be taking action, therefore bring charges etc. MC have to defend their corner, justifying their expenditure, exploitation of sponsor loopholes, extra player payments etc. That's the public facing scenario. behind closed doors, the case within a case will be about how they both compromise on all of the charges. The PL cannot afford to be seen not taking action - but similarly they cannot over punish one of their jewels in the financial crown. Also, if MC are indeed guilty, it will open a door to a whole host of other teams taking legal action against the manner they have been treated previously and the financial impact it has had over the period of those 14 years. MC will hold their ground - they have very deep pockets and consider their selves to be one of the major clubs in the Premier League - if not the world - and above criticism. They won't give in lightly - in fact will refuse to. This is a global money making machine that advertising the gateway to the middle east. Hence the real case IMHO will not be about one side winning and one losing - it will be about negotiating a compromise that pleases both parties. No wonder its being played out behind strictly closed doors. Ugly and cynical - fat purses for the legal teams. Nothing will change as a result. Urrrrggghhh......
King Rat - 1965 - war film with George Segal and James Fox First X rated film - Enter the Dragon - 1974 - Bruce Lee - very proud at the time as I was only 13.....
Good shout Bright Samuel... funnily enough watching the game friday I mentioned to my son that Alfie Llyod looked at times like the early BOS .... frightening pace, just needs to keep control of the ball better.... We have a great player in Alfie and Marti is the man to get the best out of him....
Varane was so happy at the end - you can tell he's fallen in love with this team and the fans... was smashing his chest in front of us all..... what a great night....
The most impressive thing is that we are still a long way from playing our best football. He's managing to create an environment of never say die and belief. Once we get the whole squad firing, this is going to be some team. People will not want to play against us.
two key points from it for me. Firstly, even he says at the beginning that it is a strong side that edwardes had chosen. Secondly, we fielded a side that made 5/6 changes from our side that will play tomorrow night, and although as expected, they probably had the better chances, we contained them and there was some great cameos from our squad players. The result could have gone either way, but I was impressed how we stuck to our structure and matched them across the park. The interesting thing will be how Marti sets us up against Palarse....
I thought it was probably the best performance he's had at one of our games. He let it flow in parts and wasn't having any of the theatrics from their players and especially their captain. By no means perfect, but a big improvement on his normal performance....
It does seem like they are making a decent attempt to sell off the high earners and prima donnas... at least their acquisitions have a sell on value. Hopefully they will block any attempts to spend any further monies....
