Definitely move on. Players like this we have to move on if we want to be a top half side. We can’t spend every flaming season just trying to stay up in the Championship. |

The team just looked poor from the start. So many key players out injured. Never known a season like it for injuries. For this game we were missing the following that would probably have started. 1. Paal 2. Cook 3. Field 4. Varane 5. Smyth 6. Frey 7. Chair 8. Dembele 9. Saito But a side starting with Andersen and Madsen will never win you many games at this level. We had zero pace going forward. Thankfully we have the points to stay up and we have to work out how to avoid all these injuries next year. First thing is to sack off that bloke on his sun lounger in Dubai WFH! |

We have done Wrexham and Stockport before. Remember a cracking draw when Gallen scored up at Stockport and of course that cup game where it was freezing and we lost. My birthday as well. Remember being at Wrexham when we won 2-0. Rowlands definitely scored. We had Kevin McLeod in the team. He had his maker Franny Jeffers in the away end with us. He was sat very close to us. Wouldn’t mind Charlton coming up as we can do the boat trip again. Always a good laugh. Definitely don’t want Bolton! Another ground that’s a pain to get to. |

Armstrong was developing nicely at Rangers. But he wanted more money. He can do one. You only have to speak to Bristol fans to find out what they think of him. Armstrong simply went with what his agent told him to do. Dickie still very slow. He was much further down with his career compared to Armstrong. |

Is there a link to how our injuries compare this season to other clubs? You see it often on the tv for the Prem teams. There must be something for our league. |

And this is my gripe with Nourry. He’s clearly a data man who loves a PowerPoint but his knowledge of football you could write on the back of a postage stamp. How for example can you go into a season with 2 out and out strikers in a league where it is relentless? We spunk the majority of our summer budget on a player who hasn’t started a game since pre-Christmas despite all our injuries. We employ a Head of Performance who is literally lying on a beach in Dubai. It’s just poor decision after another. Every season we struggle with relegation. What is the aspiration of this club? Why do we consistently sign so many sh1te players? Why can’t we have a go for the play offs one year? Bring some excitement to the fans. We do our bit. We go to games. Home games on a Saturday are always a sell out. We have to get better! Surely the owners need to sack Nourry and his mates. |
 | Forum Thread | Frey - what’s his injury and when is he back? at 08:55 6 Apr 2025
He wasn’t part of the injury update the other day. I doubt Celar will be seen until next season. Kolli is always injured. Lloyd is unable to play 90 mins and sadly just not good enough at this level. So when will Frey be back? We need some presence up top. |
 | Forum Reply | Dembele has had a free ride this season at 18:38 4 Apr 2025
I think he’s only scored 1 goal this season. I can’t think of any games where he’s assisted any goals or produced a MOTM performance. I would add Smyth to this list as well. I think he has only scored 1 goal this season as well. Maybe 2. All these players in attacking areas who are not doing enough. |
 | Forum Reply | So another game with no striker… at 18:36 4 Apr 2025
Whatever league we are in next season there needs to be a full review of this season’s debacle. I can’t understand how the board think it’s acceptable to employ someone who is Head of Performance to live and work in Dubai. How can there be so many injuries away from matches? Why has the level of recruitment been so poor? The biggest outlay last summer was on a player who spends every game on the bench. This is just poor from the club. We need to find a way to stay up but I fully expect a huge upheaval this summer with recruitment on and off the pitch. We literally have nothing as a club to look forward to each season apart from trying to stay up. It’s appalling when we make no attempt to progress in either of the cups. The side he selected at Leicester summed up the club’s attitude towards the FA Cup. |
 | Forum Thread | So another game with no striker… at 16:37 4 Apr 2025
Just reaffirms how poor our recruitment was in the summer in this area of the pitch. Celar still out, whilst Frey and Kolli constantly injured. Team for tomorrow I assume: 1. Nardi 2. Dunne 3. Paal 4. Edwards 5. Morrison 6. Field 7. Varane 8. Colback 9. Smyth 10. Dembele 11. No idea who can play up top. Yang? It’s absolutely ridiculous how we went into the season with such poor planning. I make it that we have the following out: 1. Saito 2. JCS 3. Frey 4. Celar 5. Kolli 6. Chair Just cannot see where the goals will come from. |

Doesn’t help when your Head of Performance is sat on his sun lounger in f**king Dubai! It’s like employing a manager who WFH! We are our own worst enemy sometimes. What are the aspirations of this club? To simply avoid relegation every year. It’s tiresome and shows no aspiration. Our owners are clearly wealthy and successful outside of football. Why do they accept such mediocrity with their ‘hobby’? Our recruitment has been so bad for years. How can we go into another game with literally no striker? I get selling Dykes, but why not bring a replacement in? Frey seems unable to play more than 3 or 4 games before getting injured. Kolli is always injured and he’s a kid. Celar has been out for ages and scored 2 goals all season. Lloyd is incapable of playing 90 mins. It’s shoddy planing at the start of the season. We look so unfit as a unit sometimes. We had such a poor pre season and if we go down it will be fully deserved. It will be another summer of upheaval with lots more players needing to come in to avoid this shambles again. So hacked off with our club. |

Yeah friendlies don’t count. Only proper games. We have never played there in a league or cup game. |
 | Forum Reply | Oxford selling fast at 21:41 26 Mar 2025
This game was always going to be tough to get tickets for. We have never played there in a proper game. Seen us play at the Manor Ground a few times back in the day. But must be 20 odd years since we last played them at their place. |

What is Marti playing at? We are 2 down and now we have no striker on the pitch! |
 | Forum Reply | The Boro Match thread. at 21:06 11 Mar 2025
Our midfield is absolutely non existent. Colback’s legs are gone and the game is passing Morgan by. We are so lightweight in the attacking areas. The side is going to need some major surgery next season. We can’t keep just staying up. We are simply not good enough. Tonight has been embarrassing like West Brom. |
 | Forum Reply | Away form? at 20:23 22 Feb 2025
Our lack of control in midfield is very disappointing. I am not sure why Morgan has been dropped from the side. Since he’s been dropped due form has tailed off. I like Field but I feel if we are to progress next season then we need better players in centre mid. We were really poor today. Chair can’t be a guarantee starter every game. I think he’s a luxury when we play away. |
