Chelsea have had a lot done to their stadium in the last 30 years. I remember their dog track, the benches, the Shed etc! We have had diddly squat! |

It’s very obvious why Madsen and Varane keep playing every week. The club are pinning their hopes on their values going up to make profit. Playing Hayden doesn’t give you that given his age etc. I assume the reason with RND being in and out the team recently is there must be some kind of commitment to buy if he plays a certain number of games. Team for me in recent weeks just looks unbalanced. I suspected this might happen when Chair came back. I was never a fan of Dunne at centre back previously. No surprise we are shipping in lots of goals now he’s back there. For me he plays if he’s a right back otherwise he should be benched. But making him captain means he has to play! |

And you can chuck Oxford into this conversation with their new stadium as well. We continue to play in the same stadium which has had nothing significantly done to it in probably well over 40 years. I still sit in the same cramped seat in the Loft I’ve had all my life. I can’t think of any other club in the top 2 divisions that have not moved to a new stadium or had major work done to their current stadium in the same period. Shows how far behind we have fallen with so many clubs. Been such poor management in this area for decades. At least we finally have a training ground! |

We essentially have a 3rd choice keeper in goal now. We are playing a centre back at right back and a centre mid at left back! Dunne was moved from centre back to right back because we could never keep a clean sheet when he played there. But as he’s the captain he has to play and he’s now back at centre back! Always felt we are more solid with Morrison playing at centre mid. Strange when we have a solid left back on the bench. Defence and keeper needs big improvement next summer. |

Furlong was part of the ‘old guard’ and from what I hear was the reason he’s been pushed out. The QPR PR machine has been in overdrive to try and avoid any PR disaster. Time will tell if it’s the right decision or not. But he’s done fantastic for our club and I wish him all the best for the future. |

Well if you are planing to go. I can’t make Norwich now so have a train ticket going spare! It’s London via Cambridge to Norwich. About an extra 45 mins to normal Norwich journey. |

I would have thought given his lack of playing time that he would have played today for the Development Squad. I wouldn’t have thought he’s injured as he’s not been playing unless he got injured in training? |

Kolli has put out a statement on Instagram. He’s deleted all his posts on his account as well. |

After the Brazilian’s performance against Ipswich I suspect his career at QPR will be like Santos from last season when he had that shocker against Boro. I imagine he will be loaned to a Portuguese 2nd division side. Can’t believe he was put in for that game. Back 4 today will probably be Field, Morrison, Cook and Dunne. I think our back 4 and goalie need big improvements next season. Full back positions has been a problem for so long now. |

Burrell scored at Swansea and it was set up by Hayden. Chair had a chance at Swansea and missed. Had he scored it would have been an assist to Dembele. |
 | Forum Reply | Chair…since he’s come back at 07:05 7 Nov 2025
Chair would never come into any conversation compared to Tarabat. Tarabat was on another planet compared to Chair. Chair is very much a one tricky pony. He literally cuts inside every time with that roll over of the ball. How rarely does he actually score with that move? I sit in the Upper Loft and have probably caught the ball more times than his goals? He’s essentially an attacking midfielder. Watch him closely and you will rarely see him break the lines to support our strikers or get beyond them. He spends the majority of games in that area between the D and the centre circle. For someone in his position and our ‘number 10’ is goal return is very, very poor. He’s never reached 10 goals in a season. He’s 28 now. If we could get some money for him I would take it. But the way he plays you basically have to build a team around him, but for me he’s not good enough to build a team around to take us to the next level. Now with Tarabat you would definitely build a team around. No club would build a team around Chair and I’m afraid to say given the length of his contract we are essentially stuck with him because the guy is not going to get any better. His football career has peaked. |

Dembele is absolutely non-existent from a defensive perspective. He doesn’t track back. He was well at fault for Southampton’s 2nd goal. I’d be a lot more forgiving if he was producing the goods further up the pitch. Literally couldn’t tell you the last time he scored or set a goal up. Been for me a very disappointing signing. Saw lots of his goals at Blackpool where he would cut in and score. Haven’t seen any evidence of it. Would appear the step up to the Championship is too much for him. |
 | Forum Reply | Where does Chair sit now? at 06:49 6 Nov 2025
The Chair of 3 / 4 years ago I loved. He’s now 28 and his career is now on the slide. He will never play a higher level than the Championship. He was never in the Eze level. But look at the stats. When he plays our results are not positive. Start of the season we were great going forward. Really quick with lots of movement. He slows us down so much. He makes no effort to bust a gut to get in the box when the ball goes out wide. So many times yesterday Burrell was the only man in the box. He’s a one tricky pony. Wants to play on the left so he can cut in and shoot and very rarely scores. |
 | Forum Reply | Lack of consistency. at 06:45 6 Nov 2025
It’s interesting that certain players are never rotated: Madsen, Nardi (no one else to play), Dunne (he’s the captain, but having a really poor season) and Burrell (been superb). My worry with Dunne signing his contract is that his form would go to pot which happens when they get the security for the duration of their contract. Our defence needs to build cohesion. The year we went up we had Walker / Orr, Gorkks, Connnolly and Hill with Kenny in nets. They played every week and built a platform for the forward players to perform. Our side changes hugely every game. I assume it’s because of the Dubai bloke and the game model. You can predict that on 60 mins every game all the subs start. |
