I don’t get the nuance in “this is down to Nourry”. But anyway, what I don’t understand is the dislike / hatred of the guy. I think he’s mainly to blame as he’s the CEO but I don’t have any feelings for him either way. |

I’m not sure that’s entirely true. We’ve had threads saying “this is down to Nourry”, “Nourry should walk” and a protest against Nourry thread. Seems that quite a few do hold him solely to blame. I’ve definitely gone from blaming him 20% to over 50% but there’s loads of people at fault here for some of players signed, our performances and injuries. Yet the comments on Nourry seem a bit obsessive. |

Samba Diakite. Not sure we’d have stayed up if he hadn’t arrived on loan.
Completely agree on Edwards. He’s been a vital addition. His versatility to play centre mid against Leeds was very important to getting something from that game. |

Nourry has to take a lot if not most of the blame for the squad but there’s getting a tune out of a poor squad and there’s what was served up yesterday. Absolutely pathetic in every aspect of the game and this was after 2 weeks on the training pitch. |

We can’t blame Marti for this but we can’t say that he’s blameless either. This is not the same squad of 3 years ago. There no Roberts, Laird as an example. I don’t believe this squad is very good but I don’t think that Dunne, Smyth, Fox, Colback, Varane, Morgan, Anderson are just throwing the towel in are not trying. |

Our squad isn’t great and bottom 1/3 is our level. But I don’t think these players are full of “bad eggs”. It’s such an easy way out to say the players aren’t trying. I’ve always thought this squad has a decent attitude. Yes performances like today are partly down to the players but Marti has to accept some responsibility. He’s the manager and should set them up right and get them ready for the game. Today was far from that level. |

I know you’re joking but I actually really like the players we have. Think they all give 100% and seem like a good bunch. I guess Madsen effort you can question but maybe just his style. Compared to squads in the past, they seem to be a good bunch. And to cap it off a top manager. |

Varane, Cook and Lloyd all in training photos. Imagine 2 of those 3 will start tomorrow. And we have some relief for Frey off the bench. Kolli is the one who has vanished…..thought he was meant to be training again. Another one with injury issues? |
