Was that your best ever Qpr moment?
at 20:47 25 May 2014

Yesterday was the sweetest QPR exprience of my life. I have never cheered a goal for as long and as loud as I did yesterday. I am 46 and said to a few of my mates all around the same age that this victory meant more to me as an older supporter knowing of the rarity of moments like this. I was so exhausted from cheering that goal and getting over the shock we had even scored, I could hardly speak.
Another thing that made it so special was being with my best mates. Sitting together, sharing that, and being there in the moment makes the memory more special.
Like another poster on here said, I actually said to my wife that if I had a heart attack celebrating the win or a goal I would have died happy!

1982 FA Cup final and replay - were you there? Help needed
at 16:54 21 May 2014

I was 14 at the time of the 82 cup final. Went with my dad. Can't remember what the problem was but when we got to the block our tickets were for the steward wouldn't let us in. I can remember being in tears thinking that I was going to miss the match. This Spurs fan was standing there while all this was going on and to cut a long story short I got in, but was in the Spurs end. ( My dad got in with his original ticket) Not great, sitting there with all my Rangers gear on.

Don't remember much about the game apart from the equaliser...and the rain!
I can clearly remember saying to mum before I left the house "I hoped it rained as it creates a better atmostphere" and It was pissing down when Fenwick scored his goal.
My stand out memory from that match is getting a back hander in the face from a Spurs fan outside the Torch!

Taking a motor bike to Rangers
at 16:12 17 Apr 2014

Have, or do any of you ride to Rangers? I am thinking of maybe riding my scooter to footy on Monday. I cannot store my helmit in the bike so where could I leave it? Would the club store it for me?

I just this minute reached the 'Fcuk it' stage
at 17:06 6 Mar 2014

I've been feeling like that for a while...
It all started for me in our 1st year in the prem, bringing in the players we brought in and lack of passion shown on the pitch. Then I felt no association with any of the players and it has continued into this year with lack of effort or desire again. I've been 3 times this year, and have not come away feeling great about what I've seen.

Doing the knowledge, looking after my family and doing a full time job means sacrifices have to made, and missing the football is one of the sacrifices I choose to make.
The thing I miss most about going to Rangers is seeing my mates and going on the piss.

Don't get me wrong I love Rangers and have done for the last 30 odd years, I've just got to the stage that it's not the be all and end all anymore.

I think it's quite sad the premiership was our "goal" yet it has led to nothing but disapointment and a very big debt!

Getting Caught Short
at 09:05 4 Mar 2014

One new years eve, many years ago, I went for a piss and while doing that thought I needed to fart. I tried to push the fart out and wallah out it comes (not the fart). I had been doing a few bits n pieces as it was back in my clubbing days so maybe that's confused the issue, but lets just say I didn't see the new year in in the club!

Also while in the early stages of a new relationship I went out for a meal with my girlfriend. I had lobster, after finishing my meal and before I'd even left the restaurant I knew some thing wasn't right. By the time I got home my guts were in bits. A little accident happened and my girlfriend (now my wife) actually ended clearing up the kitchen floor. I don't need to go into too much detail, but she earned her stripes that day, bless her.

"strong interest in Mackie brewing"
at 08:01 16 Jul 2013

As I said on another post, Met him last night and he wants out if he's not getting game time. So unless Harry is going to play him, he'd be better off going.

Cheers for the tips!
at 07:51 16 Jul 2013

Went to Windsor last night, and what a gorgeous evening to go racing. Got some money back on Trading profit so cheers for that, the others not so good.

I was standing there and this bloke turns around to ask me to take him and his friends picture, It was only Joey Barton! He was with Mackie and Brian Murphy, who I must admit I didn't recognise.
They were all good as gold, Joey said he didn't know what was happening about Marseille (sp) and Mackie said he was frustrated at not getting regular games last year and If he ain't playing he wants out. I felt a bit bad as I had to ask Murphy if he was part of the squad?

All in all a good evening.

I watched that and thought It was excellent. I really liked the way that female trainer did things, looking into the phsyc (sp) of the horses mind, allowing them to get out to have a run about to establish a pecking order amongst the pack

I went to point to point once and hated it. It was too close to the action. You could hear the horses as they jumped and came crashing down.
Not against horse racing tho and attend Cheltenham every year, just don't like to see the horses suffer.

So who's going to Cheltenham then?
at 15:59 11 Mar 2013

I'll be there Tues and Wed. Had a great Tues last year. Staying in Cheltenham too. Last year stayed in Swindon. Nothing going on there at all. Last year had £40 on a 14-1 winner. Happy days.

When I read this post about Dubai, the first thing I thought was what the f*ck was the manager doing? An hour an a half. No wonder he brought his missus. Harry is taking the piss as much as some of the players are. I bet he's on a fortune.
Absolute f*cking joke.

Natural Herbal Highs (Sooo not QPR!)
at 10:36 28 Feb 2013

I've been known to dabble and was really into the rave scene in the early ninties. During that time, I met some great people while under the influence and they went on to become good friends. We did a lot of pills and smoked a lot of puff back then. One evening myself, and a group of friends were a "normal" club in Watford but still took a few bit's n bob's. I had set my mate up with my then girlfriends mate and all was going well.
They went upstairs, then after a short while she came downstairs, we thought nothing of it. He came down a short while after. Cut a long story short-he couldn't get a hard on and he was convinced that she had came down and told us about it and that we were laughing at him. That did not happen.
No matter how many times I told him that wasn't the case he would not believe it. I even went to see hi, a couple of days later to convince him.
From that moment onwards we never spoke again. He became completely paranoid.
As much as my raving were some of the best days ever there was a price to pay for the things we took. I would hate the thought of my sons taking anything like that. Hypocrite I know.

QPR in the championship not so bad?
at 16:10 25 Feb 2013

On the going down subject, I remained optimistic until the last couple of matches. I now believe we will get relegated.

What does this bring? IMO I think it will be for the best of the club. A lot of the expensive earners will hopefully move on, freeing up some the financial burden the club has heaped upon itself. The club HAS to look at how it's run. We have turned into a laughing stock in the way we have conducted business in the last 2 years with our panic buying. Trying to get ourselves out of trouble with no real improvement. I look at the Swansea is run and that is the model to match.
We used to be a club for unearthing gems and selling them for an improved fee, when was the last time that happened? Where has our youth policy gone?

Up until last year I was a regular at QPR, unfortunately I am unable to go as much due to family and work commitments. The 2 games I have been to this year, against West Ham and Liverpool left me feeling totally underwhelmed and pissed off. For the first time ever in over 30 years of watching Rangers I felt no bond with the players. They were not Rangers players of old, fighting and giving their all for the Blue and White hoops.

I feel the thing we have all strived for, the premiership has IMO been a very poor 2 years in the life of a QPR fan, with the exception of a couple of good results against Chelsea. It will be sad if we do get relegated but maybe in the long run it might be the best thing to happen.
