In this case though Morrison was standing over the ball, Nardi started to walk towards it, got booked and Morrison took the free kick. If Nardi had taken the free kick I'd have understood |

Such a weird year. Would have ripped your arm off for the idea that we would be (almost) safe with 5 games to go if you had asked in November. But at the same time feels ridiculous that we weren't safe weeks ago. |

Well before this season started I think a fair number of people were looking at Celar as our newly acquired striker who if things broke well could easily hit 10-15 goals. |

I suspect MLT also knew that he could rock up at 80% pace/effort at Southampton and be guaranteed a game week in week out but wouldn't get away with that at the top tier clubs |

Whether someone else could do better isn't really the question to ask. The question to ask is whether we, with this CEO, squad, budget and vision, would get someone better if Marti wasn't here.
Given what's gone before, I would say there's a lot better chance we'd get worse rather than better.
Let's get our house in order first and then worry about changing a good manager for a great one. |

I got curious about whether this was just us, or if this was normal. By my math I counted 18 different runs of 6 or more games in there.
Happily we have two other teams Bristol City and Preston, who both came into the championship in the same year as us and are still here - perfect comparison point.
Bristol City have gone on 8 runs of 6 league games without a win during that point. Preston have gone on 9. It's us. We're a basket case. |

Certainly seems like Charlie deserves a shot in this league for us next year. But if it doesn't work it paints us into a bit of a corner.
You have to assume we'll need to give him 5-10 games minimum to prove his worth (gave Celar more than that) at which point, especially having Celar and potentially Frey still here, are we scrambling again to try and bring in another forward when we're well into the season and options are limited?
Or, you bring another forward into the club in the summer and Kelman is potentially 3rd or 4th choice and won't get a run out.
I guess the bright side is that we'll have the whole summer to look at him in training before deciding to roll with him or not. |

This season has been awful. Last season we were in better than average shape injury wise.
Beyond the guy in charge of this being out of the country the bone I have to pick with it is that if you're going to adhere to this approach of loading/rotation, that has to be combined with a squad size and makeup which enables it |

The panic was a bit much when we only really needed to win 1-2 games out of our next 14. It's a bit more understandable if we need to win 1-2 out of our next 7.
We'll be ok I think but we are making this WAY tougher than it needed to be |
