totally understand where you're coming from especially in terms of who is really suffering here. But you have to think that minds are going back to 2014 when Russia annexed Crimea and the world stood by and said "ok". Does anybody really believe that if someone draws a map with new lines on to "finish the war" that Putin isn't going to come back in five years and say "well I got away with it twice, I'll just take the rest now" |

I think it's this last factor which is the most relevant. If we want the best loan players in the future (and, possibly, pay less for those loans) then showing we are actually helping those players play and develop isn't something other clubs will overlook. Style of play too, it's why Warburton had an easier time getting good players on loan than Ainsworth did. |

Yeah I'll be honest while I'm never happy with a loss, that performance, against that team, is something we should hold out heads up about. And I'd far rather not get the rub of the green now than when it really makes a difference |

"It really divided the country" I think it actually just illustrated the divides that were already there. This is doubling down. If you loved Trump before, you love this approach. If you hated Trump before you hated this approach |

Can completely understand why you'd want to avoid politics on here and that's a totally understandable perspective. However...It's hard to find a political forum which isn't an echo chamber because naturally you're going to gravitate to something which shares similar views and beliefs to your own. Like coming onto a QPR site to talk about QPR - I don't expect anyone here not to have a vested interest or pro-QPR bias, and not should they. So personally as long as they are done respectfully, kept into the intended threads, and without anything that's going to get Clive in trouble/cause a hassle (and this obviously is where we often go wrong), I personally really appreciate the opportunity to have exposure here to people with a cross section of viewpoints on subjects that I might not otherwise see. It can on occasion help see things from another person's perspective and I feel like if we all did more of that we might all be a bit less angry. Maybe. |

Probably the best way of looking at this is who is happiest with the outcome of today? It's not Trump or Zelensky, it's Putin. That's...not great. |

Counterpoint: this fella (assuming you believe it, which is a different story) has been re-educated, and is now approaching relationships with his community in a more positive way. If this way of handling things has genuinely changed not just someone's behaviour but their actual beliefs and approach to life in a more positive way...isn't that actually a really good thing and shows this way of handling things worked? |

Are the expectations that we should be challenging next year? Genuine question. I can see the logic but it honestly hadn't crossed my mind. I was hoping for comfortable mid table without the depressing start like this year. Perhaps that's unambitious. |

I'm putting a lot of faith in the fact that Madsen must have an astonishing agent who would be able to work the same magic he worked last year (with us) again in selling the benefits of his client to others. |

What Brentford did is use a vast amount of data which means they things right more than wrong in terms of transfers, but getting our hands on that amount of data isn't an option for us it's not something you can buy. Problem with the new ground is that your income might increase 10%, but how long will it take to actually pay off the cost of construction including land etc. 30 years? |

All facts, but we can and should feel a lot better about being where we are today than if we had flipped the two "halves" (so far) and been on 30 points after 17 games instead of on 14 like we were. Anybody on here who wouldn't have taken being on 44 points and more or less safe in February if it had been offered in December is a lying b*stard. |

Not sure I agree on Field, nobody covered themselves in glory today but Field made two excellent goal saving tackles in the first half |

Jimmy Dunne with the chest down and delicate lobbed finish over the keeper is not a sentence I thought I'd be typing today |
