You're asking people to believe figures that you've told us have "reliability unknown", you're not sure who is included or excluded, or how typical that is.

Just asking you for the same facts that you're asking other for. Not too difficult surely.

Great to see him do that. A real sign of how he's becoming a leader in the team.

Easily lost? Or just looking for the facts you ask from others?

I'm not sure where you're getting those figures from. Frey played 2,559 minutes and got 10 goals. That's better than a goal every three games. Decent figures.

A hard working player who gave us something we didn't have at the time. Good luck to him

Hard to argue with that. Mbengue started in the centre and then was moved out to the right by Stephan. A full back Mbengue isn't, what he adds in enthusiasm is outweighed by his limitations going forward, and, as you've said, his technical ability.

Both he at full back and the manager are starting to have a one season feel about them.

Team for Oxford?

Agreed. One of the things that we have to accept with buying young players from lower divisions is that they will take time to settle at this level. If we're not prepared to be patient with them then we're unlikely to see them develop.

I'm not fully convinced by Kone yet, but there seems to be a decent player in there. As you say, he's probably being overplayed at the moment, and is also playing with a lot of young players around him.

Dembele it's a frustrating one, occasional signs of something there as you say, but nowhere near often enough.

Completely agree on the 442, it's predictable and we seem to be an easy side to set up against.

LFW's own Alf Garnett.

He's not alone in saying the same thing before every game though, is he?

Taking the piss out of the manager's accent? Wow. 🤣

I'm assuming that his English is far better than your French too.

Whether you're a fan of Varane or not I can't imagine many people voting to turn down £5m for him.

Agreed, was being written off by some a few months ago and came back into the side and looked really good. The injuries are a concern, but a fit Ilias Chair gets into this team every week.

But you're the one that brought him up, Ned!

Can't let it go, can you Ned?

Great win for us today, shame that you can only see it the context of a manager who did a decent job for us.

If you want to compare like for like then Ainsworth managed 0.57 PPG that season compared to the 1 PPG that Cifuentes managed with the same players until January, and that was while he was in his first job in English football.

Ainsworth dragged us down to the relegation zone, playing some of the worst football I've seen at LR, and we only stayed up thanks to a lucky win at Burnley and the game at Stoke the following week. He then followed it up with more of the same the following year, and had to be told to change his tactics by the players. I'm not sure that's worthy of much credit at all.
