Cirkin's first touch was poor and no need to lunge in given where their player was. If it was the other way round we wouldn't even be debating it. Stephan said little about it post match which says a lot. |

Well, isn't that the thing. We can usually find someone else who's worse off. But when it keeps happening at one club, and it's different clubs who are worse off each time we check who else is around us for injuries, but we're always up there, then that suggests to me that there's a problem at our club.
And that's before we talk about the length of the injuries and not just the number. The impact on the team and points available. And how that isn't acknowledged, but instead spurious statistics about availability that seem to include a range of players well adrift of our first choice team and those just outside of it.
If every time this happens we keep pointing to other teams it's not going to change. At some point it needs to be acknowledged that there's a problem, because without that it's not going to get solved. |

Completely agree that he had to rotate, he possibly got the balance wrong on that, but understand why he did it.
The bigger problem is the lack of options in midfield. While the transfer window looks to have been successful overall the issues in central midfield haven't really addressed, and hopefully this won't come back to bite us. |

So you keep telling us, and who knows you may be right. But he's three years younger than Dykes was when he joined us.
Either we accept that we're going to need to take gambles on young players from the lower leagues or we don't. He has an important year or two ahead of him that's for sure, but I find it puzzling that some seem so keen to write him off. |

Have to laugh when reading fans complaining about loyalty from players when a decent player and clearly decent bloke puts in a good shift for the club for a number of years and is described by someone on a message board as "dross". |

He's coming back from a long term injury. Maybe we should cut him some slack? Despite that injury hit season he still had more goals and assists per game than our player of the season.

Time, and the accounts, will tell I guess. It does look as if we've made a loss on a striker who scored in one game for us over two years. That's a poor transfer.
Of course we'd all know more if there was more openness at the club. I can't see what commercial advantage we've gained regarding Celar during the last two years.
It's been said before, but if you want to avoid genuine scrutiny you do as much as possible to keep people in the dark. The Celar transfer is a good example of that. [Post edited 17 Jul 11:14]

Maybe not as weird as being gullible enough to swallow the flimsy pretence given by an immigration service in a country where the president has made racist comments about the country of the referee concerned.
Weird too that these so-called terrorist links haven't stopped him getting him in anywhere else.
