The chancellors just round the corner from the blue boat is a great pub. I assume it’s a Fulham pub though?

Anyone know what it was? It’s not listed anywhere I can see and I didn’t hear them announce it at the game.

Our attendance’s.....
at 14:42 23 Sep 2018

I had a season ticket for much of the 90s and have been 12 games + a season since then. I’ll always be Rangers, in the same way I’ll always be English, they’re my club. But after spending £30 yesterday to watch that dross - my first game of the season due to work commitments- that’ll be my last this year. It’s too expensive and too depressing. Even more so with Brentford and the fools above us. It just feels like the club is being run into the ground, and with the situation with ground being years away from being sorted I can’t see it improving any time soon.

We’ve sold 2000. Initial allocation was 4000 but we’ve sent a load back. New allocation is 3300 and we’ve got about 1200 or so left.

Lowest home attendance this season..........
at 23:24 3 Feb 2018

To make it look even worse there over 22,000 at the fools today! I hate to say it but fair play to them, that is a good gate.... loads of youngsters go down there now... we got to stay up and sort ourselves out before we lose another generation of fans to them, Chelsea and the premier league bandwagon. Our fan base looks increasingly old these days and we are losing people all the time... I know loads of fellas who were regulars in the 90s who haven’t been for years. Fulham, Chelsea and even Brentford to a lesser extent, seem to be increasing their fan bases whilst ours is dropping all the time.

The most idiotic (masquerading as intelligent) football article ever?
at 22:12 12 May 2017

Man who knows nothing about football writes article about football. Easily the worst article about footy I've ever read. Arrogant div. It's muppets like this that make it impossible for me to ever vote Tory. I never want to be part of the same tribe as this clueless idiot.

Pub in Bristol
at 10:40 11 Apr 2017

Bristol is great for pubs but poor for pubs that show football.

The drawbridge on the centre next to the hippodrome does as does one in the harbour side... can't remember it's name - it's just down from the watershed though. Both are lloyds style bars though.

All the pubs on north street are good and local to the ground. The steam crane and spotted cow won't let you in with colours but are good pubs. The tobacco factory is big, 5 mins from the ground and home and away mix freely.

Ostrich good, the Shakespeare is fine. As is the Nova Scotia. All are around the harbour.

The bookshop on north street is for real ale types. Avoid anything on west street. Every where round temple meads is a shit hole do head into central (the harbour side) as soon as you get there.

The old duke and the langdoggertrau on king street are good and king street in general is s decent area.

Locals are mostly friendly but there is an element round bedminster... two wolves fans went to a&e on Saturday after getting a kicking from some city bell ends.

Do you really believe that? My old man and his mates are all Fulham and they are all old school working class tradesmen in their late 50s... maybe their fan base has changed in recent years but I just don't get this Rupert tag. I see them the same as us... but we have more fans in the 30-50 bracket and they have more in the sub-25 and over 50 bracket. Which reflects when both clubs were doing well. I just assumed the Rupert stuff was banter not what people actually thought. Agree we need to dick them though - I'm sick of getting stick from my Fulham mates. Loved the robbery we had in October.

I reckon most rangers fans would secretly acknowledge that mate, we just like the banter. Personally, I've always considered Rangers and Fulham fans to be cut from exactly the same cloth (to be honest the fulham fans in my family are definitely the scummier side of the family!)

Yeah. That's true, you're right of course. I don't want to sound too critical especially after today's win and Ollie coming back, I want to get behind the club. But it feels like support has been slipping for years. It just pisses me off...Half my family are Fulham. I just think 18k shouldn't be that difficult to sell out most weeks.

Good gate for a change... but over 20,000 at Fulham. Why are they getting so many more than us these days? I always considered us the bigger club (I know we're not historically, but I started following rangers in the late 80s), but that is getting increasingly difficult to justify. We should be getting 17k every week. Our attendances are worse than when we were in the third tier with Ollie last time. I never rated their fanbase but credit where credit is due- it as held up well since they came down to the championship (whilst ours seems remarkably fickle). How can we improve ours to be 17k every week?

Thank God we got some rangers fans here prepared to defend the impoverished, oppressed workers or Shepherd's Bush...

Poor old Fulham

If Fulham have no history and poor fans that doesn't put us in a good light. According to this, they are a bigger club than us with a bigger support. So be careful what you say...

I went along today... (I got a mate who follows them). In fairness, there was nearly 20,000 there and they supported their team quite well. The team itself was appalling though and they could well go down - as crap as any team I saw us play last year. But I can't fault their support... It hasn't fallen away like I thought it would. Turning up in those numbers to watch that dross is actually quite commendable.

I don't think we can really have a pop at their attendances... They're getting bigger gates than us at the moment!
