Considering, despite his misogyny & antisemitism, Strindberg's work clearly exposed the hypocrisy and conflicts of Victorian society including both class & sex, it seems odd to me you'd use woke in a pejorative sense.
Perhaps you should re-read "Miss Julie" and instead of accepting the premise that women are inherently evil, dependent & psychologically weak have a think about what might have led to this portrayal? |

From what I remember all those cases were dealt with very speedily. So I'm not sure how much time there was to put a defence together. Although, looking at the just stop oil protesters, it looks like the decisions were made in advance anyway. |

You're likely right, but even in the unlikely event there were some merit to Stainrod's post, the court had a chance to break that cycle of co-dependency.
I'm not in favour of locking people up generally, but the Judge has fecked up a chance of giving Barton's wife and kids 12 weeks of peace and the space to experience what life could be like living in a home without fear. |

What makes you think Russia are keen on the US getting their hands on 50% of the minerals? It seems more likely that they aren't and made their feelings known before that meeting. That would explain how it went from Zelensky being in the US to sign the deal to a tirade from Vance and then a concerted effort to scupper it. Instructions from the Kremlin is my guess. |
